Ragi flour biscuits. Then, place a pan over low flame and dry roast ragi or finger millet flour in it, make sure you roast the flour on low flame only to avoid burning the flour. Roast till you feel teh aroma of the flour. When done, turn off the burner.
I have made these biscuits using ragi flour, atta, sugar and ghee. You can also use jaggery powder instead of sugar. Ingredients of Ragi flour biscuits
- It's 200 gm of wheat flour.
- It's ,1 of /2 cup ragi flour.
- It's 2 Tsp of all purpose flour.
- You need 80 gm of butter.
- You need 80 gm of sugar.
- Prepare 2 Tsp of chopped dryfruits.
- Prepare 1 Tsp of vanilla extract.
- Prepare 1 pinch of salt.
The wheat and ragi flour are blended together with sugar and shortening and then baked till crispy done. Relish the wheat biscuits as tea time snacks or canape base. Add your private note Heat a pan, dry roast the ragi flour till it becomes aromatic (about a min). Then in a strainer/sieve, take roasted finger millet (ragi) flour, wheat flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder.

- In a bowl put butter & sugar mix it till fluffy..
- Now mix flour, extract,salt,mix it very well..
- Keep it in the fridge for 30 miniutes..
- Now after 30 miniutes take it out..
- Roll it out some thick approximately 1 cm..
- Cut it with the help of cookies cutter..
- Sprinkle dry fruits in it..
- Put it in the oven at 150 degree for 15 miniutes.check it continuesly..
- After 15 miniutes switch off the oven & keep the biscuits 1 miniute more in the oven..
- Take it out from the oven..
- Put it in the cooling rack..
- Now healthy version of biscuits are ready to eat..
Sieve everything together and Keep it aside. Grease a cookie tray with butter and keep it ready. Roast ragi flour on low flame until you get a nice smell of roasted ragi. Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool. In another mixing bowl, take wheat flour, oats, millet flour, jaggery powder, and baking powder.
