Ingredients of Mawa Laddu
- It's 2 cup of Gram Flour.
- Prepare 1 cup of grated Mawa/ Khoya/ dried Milk.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Semolina.
- Prepare 3 table spoon of Ghee.
- It's 1 tea spoon of cardamom powder.
- You need 1 cup of condensed milk.
Take out bowl from microwave and crumble with help of a spoon. Khoya Besan ladoo is a traditional and delicious Indian sweet dish made with unsweetened khoya / mawa, gram flour, sugar, cardamom and nuts. This besan ladoo recipe is so quick to make and perfect for festivals, parties or any occasion. I have used homemade khoya in this recipe.
Mawa Laddu step by step
- Heat ghee in a pan, add gram flour in it & stir for 3-5 mins on low flame. Add grated khoya and stir well for some time..
- Roast semolina in another pan & add roasted semolina and cardamom powder in the besan mixture. Stir again for 2 mins..
- Add condensed milk in the mixture, mix it well & stir continuously so that the mixture becomes thick. When the mixture gets separated from the pan, take it off from the gas..
- Let it cool a bit so that it turns to a lukewarm mixture, apply ghee in your palms & make laddus out of the mixture. Make all the laddus in this process & your Mawa Laddus are ready to serve!.
You can also use the store-bought one. Apart from these laddu varieties, many of you would have tried khoya burfi or gulab jamun with khoya. Do try this khoya ladoo for a change. I am sure you will love it. Its tastes is similar to doodh peda.
