Gujarati kadhi khichdi instructions

- Keep stirring on low and then add 1-2 glasses of water mix well and bring it to A soup type consistency. Let it come to A boil for 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile, take A pressure cooker put the soaked khichdi after removing excess water add salt, ghee/oil 1-2 glasses of water, mix well and pressure cook up to 4 whistles on low flame..

This combo is more famous in villages. It is more watery than Punjabi kadhi and I particularly like the sweet-sourness that is typical of gujarati cooking.
